
DMEXCO 2019: Agencies must rely on advice
The Evernine Group convinced interested visitors on 11 & 12 September at DMEXCO as an exhibitor with its unique approach as an agency to put consulting before implementation. The focus is on the desire of customers to receive advice that is permanently tailored to the industry, to be supported in digital approaches and to intelligently network activities. As a provider-independent communications consultancy with digital full-service know-how, Evernine proved at DMEXCO 2019 to be a capable consultancy for this challenge.
Under the motto “Trust in you”, the largest marketing fair has already entered its 10th round this time. Together with its subsidiaries NINE brackets, MBF Media and IBS Publishing, the rapidly growing communications consultancy, Evernine Group from Munich, convinced the trade fair visitors in Cologne with its own comprehensive digital approach and its team of experts on site. As the leading German innovation and communication consultancy for effective next-level communication, the Evernine Group has been a byword for the digital transformation of marketing, sales & HR communication since 2013. In addition, the company has its own portal & publishing network for effective, outsourced campaigns.
The focus of the trade fair appearance in the World of Agencies was therefore not the sale of services, but rather the approach to provide customers with long-term advice and to lead them into digitalisation with a full-service offer behind it. Above all, the agency addressed the IT & Tech, Life Sciences & Engineering, Corporate & Finance, Sports & Health and Lifestyle & Fashion sectors at eye level.
Customers want to be advised
At this year’s DMEXCO it became very clear that although many companies that use new technological approaches to marketing such as Artificial Intelligence, Account-based Marketing, Programmatic Advertising or Customer Experience Design, many of the visitors find it difficult to keep up with the speed and complexity.
The reason? The customers feel that they are not being advised enough. The simple appearance of the Evernine Group at DMEXCO did not attract interested visitors to the stand with buzzwords about the portfolio on all roll-ups, they came to the stand with specific requests for cross-technology advice. Consultation, which many have often missed with other exhibitors.
“One Voice” with consulting, full service & campaigns
Under the topic “One Voice”, Evernine carries out consulting, key account management & campaigns in an outsourcing model if desired. All important communication disciplines converge digitally at one contact person per company. At DMEXCO, Managing Director Alec Chizhik and his team presented different models of consulting & implementation of HubSpot and showed how these complementary services of the HubSpot portfolio optimally stimulate digital corporate communication and significantly relieve companies.
The Evernine Group is a certified partner of various marketing tools and acts completely independently. However, the Munich-based consulting firm liked the cooperation with HubSpot so much because, among other things, its campaigns can be ideally mapped with a multi-channel approach and associated mailing processes.
Account-based marketing meets the ravages of time
An example: In the discussions, Evernine’s experts reported on best practices in account-based marketing, for example in combination with intelligent omnichannel campaigns.
Especially the lecture on “New ways in account-based marketing” by Evernine CEO, Alexander Roth, on the World of Agencies Stage on the second day of the fair inspired many visitors & listeners. The sticking point here – consulting & complete outsourcing of the process – from the production of campaign assets to lead generation, the campaign can be implemented completely outsourced, so that ideally, customers only have to worry about lead processing and at the same time avoid wastage in marketing.

We were particularly struck by the fact that although many companies have already heard about the approaches, they all need an advisory body at their side when it comes to implementation. And that’s exactly what played into our hands at DMEXCO – the customer and his Pain Points have always been the focus of our attention – and with advisory discussions we were able to generate many exciting contacts and are now looking forward to the next steps.
