A Call for Optimism

A Call for Optimism – The 2020 48FWRD Festival

The current situation demands a lot from us. Optimism is now more important than ever. On April 29th 48forward is hosting a “Virtual Call for Optimism” in form of an online conference with exciting topics about the current crisis & international speakers.

Our partner 48forward is organising an all-day online conference on April 29th, 2020 on the topic “A Call For Optimism”. As early as last year, the organisers had already tied this topic down as the main theme for this year’s 48forward festival and would never have thought that it would be so fundamentally important today. Since the festival cannot take place at the end of April as planned, they are now planning a Virtual Call For Optimism on April 29th, an all-day online conference that will be streamed live and will deal with technological, social and health trends and their impact on various areas of life and the economy.

👉 The festival will focus on these topics:

  • Planet & Environment
  • Society & Politics
  • Healthcare

A total of 30 speakers and panelists from all over the world will appear on the virtual stage. Among them are renowned names such as Prof. Dr. Karl Lauterbach, Prof. Marc Lipsitch and Audrey Tang, the Digital Minister of Taiwan.
